The best pasta dishes with a 30 mile radius, and its pasta for two or three days because portions are huge. Fantastic service every time, and Pete has been doing this as long as anyone in town! I just recently moved back to town, but anytime I’d pass through to see family I’d always try to make it in. Writing this review as I’m outside smoking a cigarette, because you need one after this!
Had this delivered to the Loves Truck Stop. Portions are BIG, and food is tasty. Delivery was quick, and right to my truck. Would Definitely Recommend To Fellow Truckers. I spent Appx 50 with tip, and got Lasagna, Alfredo Chicken, There Sampler with Fried Mushrooms, Califlower, Motz Stix, and Bread Bites. Meal came with Garlic Bread too. Only wish garlic bread was cooked a little longer. But Really Good...
Can't say enough about how good our dinner was. From the moment we walked in and were greeted, it was a great evening. We had nuggets, pepperoni pizza and a dinner salad. Everything was freshly made and delicious. The dipping sauce for the nuggets is a sweet marinara. Looking forward to our next visit!
If you’re gluten free, love Italian-American cuisine, and in the Rochelle/DeKalb/Sycamore/Rockford area, run, don’t walk, to this restaurant. The owner has a relative who is celiac, and they’re very accommodating and the food is delicious! I’m well-traveled, but from the area. This place is worth the drive if you’re looking for excellent Italian-American fare (especially if you have dietary needs). Family owned, the owner is usually on site and genuinely CARES about his patrons. Pastas, salads, and pizzas, carefully prepared. Try their house vinaigrettes on the salads.
We were in town on vacation and wanted to try some good Italian food. I found this place that had Sandwiches which my husband wanted ! He was not disappointed at all! I ordered the combo pasta and was not disappointed he and I sampled each others food we were very impressed! We will definitely recommend to others that will be in the area and we will come back and eat here again!
I cannot even put into words how special this place is. I walked in and immediately knew I was gonna be taken care of. Pete is an absolute gem. Alfanos is catering our wedding in 3 weeks and Pete has made me feel so at ease I have felt so cared about the entire time. I seriously can’t put into words how incredible this place is. The food was AMAZING. My fiance got pizza and I got pasta and both were so so so amazing. The pizza was perfect the sauce the cheese everything was just amazing and the pasta was one of the best I’ve ever had and I LOVE PASTA. I can’t say enough good things about this place.
We were on a road trip and called ahead to order pizza and have something other than fast food. The pizza was delicious and they were able to accommodate my son’s picky noodle request also. The service was friendly and attentive. They knew we were in a bit of a hurry so got us in and out, but I could have seen spending a date night or longer family dinner for sure. Will save this as a future stop!
